                 503rd Military Police Company                                                             

• Constituted 1 January 1942 in the Regular Army as the Military Police Platoon, Service Company, 3d Armored Division and activated at Camp Polk, Louisiana
• Inactivated 10 November 1945 at Aalen, Germany
• Redesignated 7 July 1947 as the Military Police Platoon, 3d Armored Division
• Activated 26 March 1948 at Fort Knox, Kentucky
• Reorganized and redesignated 25 June 1948 as the 503d Military Police Company and remained assigned to the 3d Armored Division
• Deactivated 31 October 1991 at Frankfurt, Germany
