Larry Sarica, C Battery, 1967-1969

I was stationed in Gelnhausen from June 1967 to January 1969. I was in C Battery 2-6 FA ammo section. SGT Gary Scoby was the section chief, and some of the others in the section at the time were Mike Paxson, Don Rosien, Chris Mullins, Bob Fiala, and Jimmy Smith. I would sure like to hear from these guys again. These pictures were taken in the summer of 1968, I believe. The Howitzer was idling in the motor pool and popped into gear somehow and rode across the parking area into the deuce- and- a- half and water trailer, pushing them into the building behind them. Nobody was hurt, and I don't know if anyone got into any trouble for this. Sadly, I can't remember names. There is one photo with a guy in a t-shirt leaning against the howitzer. He was the motor pool sergeant, and I think his first name was Jim. He re-upped and made SFC and bought a blue Plymouth road runner with the money. It's been killing me that I can't remember his name!. Maybe you knew him?Larry Sarica,C Battery 1967-1969 CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO SEE FULL SIZE.
