Corkran
Bill Corkran was First Sergeant of Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 68th Armor, 8th
Infantry Division (Wildflecken) until shortly before Desert Storm when he was medevac'd
back to the United States with a relapse of cancer. He died shortly after that.
Many of his soldiers served as fillers and replacements in 1st Brigade during
Desert Storm, and he is also dearly remembered as a great instructor and wise mentor at
the Virginia Military Institute from 1986 to 1988.

First Sergeant Aaron Jagger
First Sergeant Aaron Jagger was killed in Irag on Wednesday, August 9, 2006.
SSG Jagger was with the 4th Battalion, 34 Armor, 3d Armored Division in Desert
Storm. We have reprinted the Stars and Stripes article with the details of this
casualty of the most recent conflict in Iraq. Click on this
